The Barrhead and District Chamber Of Commerce
The Barrhead & District Chamber of Commerce has been in operation for over 50 years. Our goal is to provide a voice for and a network for businesses in the community.
The Chamber in Barrhead is very active. Meetings host guest speakers that are held the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Town Office (side entrance). No meetings July and August. Partnering with and sponsoring other groups in the community, we hope to make Barrhead the best place to conduct business!
We have the power to change adversity into opportunity. How? By building on our strengths, by focusing on what we have rather than what we lack and by setting common goals and then working together to achieve these goals, we can sustain our strong, vibrant and growing community.
The Chamber also gets involved in business promotion by sponsoring a number of community activities: Barrhead Street Festival, Christmas Light-Up, Santa Claus Parade, a Rodeo Luncheon, Christmas Decorating and Gingerbread House contests!
